1) What is Native Whey?
Simply put, native whey is a new type of protein that is produced directly from skim milk. It's not produced as a byproduct of the cheese making process like whey isolates and concentrated. As a result, it does not contain any of the bacteria, peptides, enzymes, or residues from this process.
2) Is there lactose in it?
We use a low lactose version if native whey that has less than .02g of lactose per serving. On top of this, we've added lactase to it, which is the enzyme that you need to digest lactose. There are a number of people who are lactose intolerant who are able to use our Pro Series Protein without issue.
3) Does it taste like my whey isolate?
Kind of... but not really. there is a very distinct aftertaste to any whey protein that is not present with native whey protein. This is one of the main things that people notice when they try native whey for the first time?
