Citrulline comes in two forms, L-Citrulline and Citrulline Malate. L-Citrulline is the free form amino acid, while Citrulline Malate is simply the free form amino attached to a malic acid molecule. In small doses, L-Citrulline provides a nice pump, while Citrulline Malate gives an endurance boost. At a higher dose, Citrulline Malate provides both of these benefits. Up to 80% of the Citrulline Malate that you consume goes towards increasing NO levels.

When comparing Citrulline Malate and Arginine, both provide an increase in pump, vascularity, and endurance. In order to get the same benefit, however, much less Citrulline Malate needs to be consumed. This is because Arginine is broken down by the liver, while Citrulline Malate is not, allowing you to get the full benefit.

Citrulline Malate is found in our Octane line of pre-workouts. It helps to provide a phenomenal pump and increase endurance. The optimal dose is around 6000mg.
